Crooked power cut for Koodankulam?

Chennai has now official 2-hours power cut per day. People from southern cities say that they have unofficial power cut--not less than 8-hours per day. Everybody says that it is worst in the history, especially when people voted against to DMK for its just [sic] 2-hours official power cut per day. Some people say that there is no need for power cut now and it's a crooked measure to get people's support against to Koodankulam agitators. More specifically, when people of Coimbatore started supporting the Anti-Koodankulam protesters, the power cut rose up from 4-hours to 10-hours. Long live politics!

Koodankulam - another ISRO? And best critic from John Rubert

Mahendragiri ISRO is situated close to my hometown and now Koodankulam ... When ISRO was started, there were no industries. At that time, everyone was happy about the project as many believed that it would create more employment opportunities. (As per some conspiracy theories, Kanyakumari was sidelined for being Congress-fort then). Later on few guys got job there... and later on they complained that they're been transferred to other place for being local guys--by Anti-Tamil seniors. I was using CakePHP for sometime and proposed CakePlus , another UIMS toolkit on the top of CakePHP but also altering some problematic core of it. The thread should explain the outcome of the post. Interview question #1

Since I have been asked to interview experienced PHP programmers, I was preparing few interview questions. I came to know, most of the people ask questions found in the Internet; most of them are like "What is the function used to connect MySQL DB in PHP". Personally, I don't like these types of questions; I'd thought the person must apply ideas what he was taught in colleges--finally I came out with one question: A product vendor has Quantity Vs. Price data like 1 -> Rs. 50 2 -> Rs. 95 3 -> Rs. 140 .... like upto 1 million data. He wants a system, which gives the price when the quantity is provided. For example, if you provide the quantity value as 2, then it should provide Rs. 95. How this system can be designed?
